It increases crop production 5% for each level but it is quite expensive to get. You need a lvl 3 granary and then it takes 1240 crop (plus a bit of every other resource) to build the mill itself. I currently have crop production of 165/hour so the mill at lvl 1 would increase it by about 8/hr. If I upgrade just 1 field from lvl 4 to lvl 5 that is a gain of 11/hr and it's much cheaper. I'm thinking that I should get the mill at about 300 crop/hr, which should be around the time you have all crop fields at lvl 6. Anyone have any thoughts on the proper timing of the mill? | ||

Raiding is awesome at first, but soon the inactive targets at 2 population will be dry, and they take a long time to fill back up. Then you'll have to either raid targets farther away, or risk attacking bigger villages, or wait until you have scouts. Don't neglect upgrading your resource fields while you're building up an army. I'm sure no one is a hardcore gamer and can raid 24 hours a day. | ||

L1 mill: production in crop/hr: 268 -> 5 fields on L6 and 1 on L5. L2 mill: production in crop/hr: 340 -> 3 fields on L7 and 3 on L6. L3 mill: production in crop/hr: 550 -> 5 fields on L8 and 1 on L7. L4 mill: production in crop/hr: 888 which means fields should be all L9. L5 mill: only profitable if all fields are on L10. There is one subtle problem with this approach. As soon as you have a L5 mill and a L10 field, you can build a bakery. Bakeries cost very little on the lower levels, and thus it may be that building a L5 mill is profitable before all fields are L10 after all. So basically build the mill when you have 5 fields on lvl 6 and 1 on lvl 5. | ||

see, 3 legs, with a total attack power of 120 can attack an empty village and return alive. while if you send like 12 phls, 1 or 2 will probably die, but 12 phils have 160 attack power. I wonder how is this thing calculated. i want to know because i am not sure if is it better to have a smaller amount high end units or a lot of low end units | ||
