This show makes me mad.
1) It always ends in whatever fashion will leave me the most unsatisfied 2) As such, it forces me to watch it EVERY GODDAMN WEEK
Eventually it'll get to the point that I can break the habit, or the frustration wins out over the reward.
Sucks about the kid though. I liked him and I thought it was slick how he went and met up with that Ohio girl in order to set things straight before going back to prison. He totally redeemed himself for selling out the guys before.

hmmm nothing beats X-files

At least there wasn't a 'hatch'.

There are only a few things, in my mind, that stand out as unrealistic.

well first of its LJ not AJ, but it doesnt really matter
and yes this show is amazing, ive never missed an episode and that FBI agent thats tracking them is a fucking psycho. anyway this isnt even the best show on FOX networks, 24 is by far the greatest show in america, Prison Break may be the best in the falls season but throughout the entire year 24 is the best show ever.
ive never watched Lost but i might start watching it tonight, im also really interested in the show after called The NIN9. brand new show about hostages in a bank robbery, ill prolly watch that im kinda interested

I really find it "American" and over-exagerated, it make it lame and really uninteresting to me. I'd rather watch something with intelligent content than waste my time over that.

Well the annoying one-look bitch died, there's got to be a balance.
First season was pretty good but it's getting worse, still worth of watching definately.
Think there's a break now till 30th October.

I love Prison Break! And 24. I've never seen Lost before, but I keep hearing good things about it. So my TODO list is:
1. finish watching season 1 of 24 2. watch season 2 of 24 3. watch the first 2 seasons of Lost
One thing I love about Prison Break and 24 is that they are good at fooling the crap out of me . Not only do they set you up to believe X will happen and then Y happens instead, but they also add moments of paranoia, where it looks like something bad will happen yet nothing happens .
For me, the most memorable one was from an episode of 24 (season 3 I think) where Kim is being taken back to CTU and the van stops at a train crossing. There's also talk from the badguys about their plan to get the girl. Then this guy on a motorcycle pulls up wearing a big helment so you can't see his face. Ominously, he slowly looks over to the van, then slowly looks straight ahead again. I was so sure he was going to pull something and I was thinking "SHOOT HIM YOU FOOLS! SHOOT HIM! HE'S OBVIOUSLY UP TO SOMETHING!". Then nothing happens, Kim gets back safely, and it turns out "the girl" is someone else . I love moments like that . Prison Break has an easy way to do it in season 2: just have ordinary people make eye contact with the cons .
Anyway, personally I find both Prison Break and 24 have good levels of unrealism. There always has to be some level of unrealism, of course, or else the shows would be too boring . I think it's beneficial to give shows lots of leeway with regards to unrealism, so that you can enjoy them better. But saying they are too unrealistic is definitely not wrong, by any means: it's largely dependent on the person.

Ill be kind of pissed if they save the kid and all live happily ever after that would be so corny and gay

I was so happy when they shot that stupid lawyer woman. Now only if they would kill LJ and possibly John Doe I can sleep again at night.

There are only a few things, in my mind, that stand out as unrealistic.
Like a man that run around the country with his freshly cutted hand in a ice box that do not die from bleeding and manage to find a veterinarian that sew him back without anesthesia, then the minute he is back up, he use his newly sewed hand to keep the doc from running away while he inject him with lethal something...
Or 2 guys on the most wanted list that "just" go up the roof of the tribunal and "just" get on top of an elevator to try and free with someone.... they fail to free the guy they came to help, but manage to get away...
Or the piece of red meat in a plastic bag placed on the driver seat to fooooool the FBI into thinking it was them that blew up with the car... wich blew only when the radio is on 98.3 fm, so there is an amazing scene where he goes to tune in while the clock is ticking...
I stop here, again, I LOVED season one.... but they should have stick to the original plan, a 10 episode mini serie !

lol its not like season 1 was so realistic;p but still very great.
I didnt have much expectations of season 2 and i think they are doing a great job, though there is so much happening now i dont see how it will all work out in any way~~

the car expolosion thing was not very unrealistic, i mean maybe the part about the radio being the timer was but they could have used a remote just as easily. but other than that it wasnt very unrealistic, it wasnt meat that was in that bag it was blood. and as long as it resembles human blood in DNA and bloodtype (AB, A, B, O) then it will at least fool the FBI for a few hours. i mean all that was intended to do was give them time to get away for a few hours. its not like they planned on the FBI never finding out.
T-Bag walking around with his hand cut off isnt INCREDIBLY unrealistic either, people have lost entire limbs (arms legs) and survived. i mean think about in iraq nowadays, im sure people have lost body parts and lived. i mean its not like he was walking around for weeks or even days, it was like 1 day max and that was it. somewhat unrealistic but not IMPOSSIBLE. and it only takes one hand to stab someone with a piece of glass or knife or w/e he had. the anestia part, maybe that is the only unrealistic part there.
i mean in every TV show there is a level of unrealistic events like the other guy said, but TV needs those to be able to push some of their plots across. As long as it stays within reason, poeple dont care, they are watching the show cuz of the plot, not necessarily the validity that these things could happen in real life.

okay. you're talking about people who broke out of jail, and running away from a courthouse is suppose to be hard?
and to clarify, he used his other hand to keep him in check with some kind of knife or scalpel. even though the whole thing was unrealistic, make sure you've got it right.
and like repent said, the only thing unrealistic about faking his death was the radio switch. what is unrealistic about faking ones death? it's been done before. and he didnt mean it to actually work. just buy time. which is entirely reasonable.

Absolutely freaking awesome show. I've been watching every single episode of P.Break season 1 & 2. But I've got the feeling that the show is getting worse, or is this just me?
