But most importantly: still going to be waiting for my sonics to come back =( The city is ready to build an arena, now we just need to find a team... which I think is going to be really hard in the current market

Anyways, the Kings. They are really the most likely team to move. And if the people of Seattle are desperate/stupid/manipulated enough to use tax money to build a stadium for a multi-millionaire, anybody would be happy to go. Maloofs' don't have to sell, necessarily. I don't think they're long for Sacramento - that stadium deal is not going to happen.

I was under the impression that that was the "reason" (besides the secret Clay Bennett conspiracy,) why the Sonics moved. Anyways, the Kings. They are really the most likely team to move. Seattle OK'd an arena deal recently! http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8422214/seattle-city-council-approves-new-arena-deal But I don't think the owner, Chris Hansen, would want to to be subject to the Maloof's as owners. I think he wants to buy a team. So, if the Maloof's would sell, he would take it from them but otherwise I don't think he's going to let them operate in seattle.

This team is like the perfect anti-Laker build because of LAs bench. These guys are literally trying to score 110 points. Clippers are looking good too with the added acquisitions of Barnes and Crawford they have a better bench than they had last year. That new rookie big they have looked real good vs Denver too. (Hollins I think...) So yea, Western Conference is stacked again. What else is new? I'm just happy Charter finally finished making a deal with Time Warner Cable so I can actually watch Laker games here again. Missing the entire preseason sucked, even if the Lakers went winless.
