I'd fear someone BK 2-0'd too. I lol'd too. I heard PvP is a very solid and well rounded matchup, and I also heard Idra's ZvP is amazing. He'll beat Rain no worries, he actually let DRG take games off of him ha ha ha Sorry ShAdZ_ZX I should probably clarify as my previous post was misleading. Rain is going to beat Idra. Sure. That's a given. His ZvP is atrocious. But Rain being the tournament winner is where my loling came from.
Ah I see. Probably stupid of me to layer my post so heavily in sarcasm. My misinterpretation of your post was just quite humorous to me that's all.

So you pick the one time they showed Stephano's APM at 60 when very other time he was near 300. I've never seen so much selective bs.

Ugh... this is just frustrating. I am not saying Stephano threw the games, but it frustrates me to see people who say that they KNOW he did, and also people acting like it isn't a possibility whatsoever. Stephano HAS TRIED TO THROW GAMES IN THE PAST!!! Why can't everyone just accept the fact that he may have, and also accept the fact that they don't know if he actually did it. It would be so much more sensible.......... Actually, the sensible thing to do is to assume both players played their best. Well, that's what I am assuming... but I am also being reasonable by acknowledging the fact that it is a possibility that they did not in the interests of winning $100k. That's all. It just bothers me that everyone seems so ignorant of that being a very real possibility. Uhh, that's not being reasonable at all. It's not reasonable to acknowledge that a player may lose a game in the interests of having an easier path to the finals (when they can look ahead in the bracket)? Please explain why. Because you're assuming the worst out of players without any substantial evidence whatsoever.
and you are assuming all players are angels? It's absurd to think that the thought of throwing the game did not cross Stephano's mind and did not affect his gameplay at all. Players play to win. $100k on the line. You do what you have to do to give yourself the biggest chance to win it all. I am not saying it's wrong. I think it's a smart move for Stephano. Most of us would do the same when in his position.

EG going to risk their best shot at overall victory just to get another player in the Ro16? lolwut Stephano going to risk $100,000 to make IdrA feel better? lolwut
Enjoy the games for what they are and try not to think too much if you aren't any good at it.

so, stephano is trying to dodge Rain in R16?

It´s GSL style groups. If HerO beats Stephano, he will play BabyK, if he loses, he is out.

I predict Grubby to win against SEn because SEn wanted a easier bracket

Lucifron vs Lowely - Game One - Cloud Kingdom
Lowely decided he would rush up to brood lords off of three bases with just lings and infestors to defend, but Lucifron wasn't going to let that happen. Massing up a large group of marines, tanks, and meviacs, Lucifron hit Lowely when he was the weakest, destroying his third base and dealing a massive amount of economic damage. Lowely hung around the game for a while, but could only delay his doom.

Stephano is an individual, with a bevy of personal opinions and motivations. Oh yea. It's a 100k dollars. It's not unthinkable. He's on EG, money isn't a problem for him anymore. If he does it and it works out, he gets a slightly better bracket. If he gets caught, his entire career is over. Seems reasonable to you?
the risk is pretty much counterbalanced by the fact that, in most cases, throwing a match is almost impossible to prove.

That was close. Nerchio sniped the hatch with the last roach shot.

Curious kills the warp prism and its zealots, setting up a second base as hero is stuck on one base, blink stalker count depleting quickly, no colossi looks terrible for hero.

And in the same game they show the apm again and stephano had above 400 and idra above 300. You can always catch a moment in every game where the apms shown are low.

The Assembly thing with bratok was completely obvious and done in a joking way. I doubt millennium cared much about it. Fixing matches in a 100k tourney organized by fucking blizzard while you're on the (arguably) most high-profile team in sc2 and you have tens of thousands of people watching you on stream and in person, just to get a slightly better bracket is insanely stupid Well it's not since there are people like you te defend them in every possible way Moreover this is like impossible to prove on so, not that stupid.
Anyway the only person who should whine there, if there is a suspicion is BabyKnight, beat Rain 2-0, get first of his group to meet Stephano or Hero :-/

You obviously haven't watched the games from Stephano's POV. His APM was low all game...
