Alabama and Georgia both lost to 2 loss teams. The only reason A&M got thrown in the top 10 is because they beat Alabama...and Alabama must be good because they beat LSU...who then beats Ole Miss by 6 points...*head explodes*. You can't just look at head to head to head to head record because that leads to A beat B beat C beat A clusterfuck. Anyway now that K-State lost, is Manti Teo going to win heisman? (assuming ND beats USC)

Man, I'm glad Georgia didn't have to play Wofford. Might not have come out alive.

If ND wins at USC, and he has a half decent game, then I think he has a great chance of winning since, for the first time in a long time, it would be "ok" to vote for a defensive player because of the major flaws with everyone else. Manti Te'o? Yeah, I suppose a defensive Heisman winner would be cool.

As a Pitt Alumni, I appreciate your assessment of my team as not completely incompetent (in spite of missing a 30 yard FG in OT that would have iced ND's undefeated season). As an aside, Oregon and KS losing shows why Alabama lost last week. 1. Variance. 2. Grind of facing real teams. 3. College quarterbacks can't be trusted and are often shut down by a good gameplan (this is, by the way, why the SEC has owned in the National Championship games, they are the least QB-centric league).

For some reason when ND has a down week they are shit though. They are the #1 defense in the country. If anyone doesn't vote them #1 tomorrow in the polls they are a joke.
