In the end, for all their talking and bitching at DoA, they never once said that there will be an English stream for the opening round of the PL. Nor any timeline as to when they may get their English stream up.

If you don't provide clear information to the community, then you are very vulnerable to rumours and misinformation being spread. A commitment to providing an english stream, and the location of the stream URL, should have been announced by Kespa a week ago. Reminds of the Los Angeles international airport (LAX) workers union protesting on thanksgiving holidays. Who is really going to sympathize with that, when it causes delays and cancellations, only for some employee benefits that can be worked out at a later time. Or the musician's union of Los Angeles who stubbornly tossing away studio gigs for every video game produced in this town because of an absolute refusal to reconsider back-end deals with video game companies (union doesn't compromise and thus starves and chokes itself). It's just stubbornness. We don't care about care about perfect contracts and agreements. We just want to see a damn English stream with high level casting. And if we as an audience matter, then go out of the way to make a USEABLE agreement FOR NOW and fix it in the future. PRACTICALITY is most important. If you stall things out forever, you will simply never accomplish anything and just waste a lot of money, like the U.S. government. I hope someone steps up to the plate and accommodates what will be a substantial audience. EDIT: Because of the update, it appears someone stepped up to the plate. Hopefully it is more than just opening day.

This response by KeSPA basically seems like a rebuke of Doa's previous announcement.

The fact that his post, accurate or not, was credible speaks volumes about the credibility and attitude of KeSPA with regards to foreign fans. Can you imagine Tasteless accusing GOM of dumping English casts and it getting any traction at all? Of course not, because GOM is open and reaches out to foreign fans, and thus has their trust and does well by them.
