It'll feel so weird saying "Mvp" and "Nestea" without putting the "IM" in front of it.... half of what made Mvp's name so cool was it sounded like "I am MVP", and everyone knew he really was. He needs to adopt it as part of his name regardless of team now

I recall Wolf replying to the reactions of this tweet in Korean that the disbanding of IM is probably going to happen but that there is no official statement by IM yet. They have only 3 players left (?). So even if they survive... there's nothing left from the glorious days

But since the situation looks grim, on with the memories :D On July 24 2014 01:59 TheDougler wrote: We should compile a list of best IM games. SC vs Nestea MVP vs Squirtle 2011 (GSTL 1 finals) MVP vs Squirtle 2012 (GSL finals) IM Vs Slayers 2011 (GSTL 2 Finals, the whole damn thing). MVP vs Nestea Blizzcon 2011 Finals There's a lot of potential. (I might get around to making a thread with links for that after work). First vs Keen (GSTL 2013 season 1 finals, g1) Nestea vs anyPro (GSL May 2011, ro8 g1) Nestea vs DRG (GSL season 1 2012, ro16, g3) ByuL vs Polt (WCS AM season 3 finals, most of the series but especially g4 on derelict) Ruin vs Soulkey (WCS KR 2014 season 2, group F, g3 on Frost) Mvp vs Bogus (WCS s1 finals 2013, g2 on Akilon Wastes)

I think most of us went through a period of time in 2011/2012 where we were frustrated by Coach Kang and his choices in team leagues, but he had a vision of trial by fire for his players in team leagues and sure enough his vision eventually resulted in dominating performances across the board. I think a lot of us underestimated that guy, and I don't think he ever got the appreciation he deserved.

They were one of the teams there from the start, I'm sorry to see them have to close up shop.
