yay!
Yay! indeed! Mobs with like double/tri resist auras, just so fucking annoying.

No but seriously. Shit is phys wander hard to pull off. It's gotten easier but dman is it still hard. 165 dps phys wand, still not enough dmg.

dark seer unique sceptre is imo underrated. its essentially a mini-doryani, was surprised its going for quite cheap.
the "increased damage" modifiers apply for DoT dmg as well (see patch 1.0.2). thus it will double dip for ignite builds.
not to mention the absurd mana/ES gain on kill! if u are lvl 80, u get both 80 mana AND 80 es per kill!!

Looks nice. I think I will use that for my DD char when I eventually start it. I think the low price is because it is rather comon as in drops.

i see around 50 of those on xyz. so its probably belongs in the uncommon tier the thing is that its probably only good for ignite builds, at least until u get doryani or searing. since any yellow wands can get better spell dmg rolls plus cast speed for other spells. but still, that nice mana/es gain per kill mod

POE noob here. I started a witch (about lvl 20 now in rampage) and I want summons to be the main thing but it seems like at the moment there's no reason not to have nukes as well so I'm using raging spirits, fire traps and just started flame blast as well to go with my zombies skeles and animated weapons. In terms of the passive tree I've been getting energy shield, the first minion node and working towards the other one via some extra fire dmg. I'm not too worried if this character doesn't make it too far as it's really just a learning run, but do you guys have any advice about what works with summon builds? I'm guessing the dex requirement of fire traps and animated weapon can become a problem later on?

Well um if ur online in like 8.5 hrs I'll poke you I'm finding that the masters get to level 4/5 in a hurry then kinda stall iunno.
In other news I've been using my infractem for 27 levels and still going strong although considering that puts me at level 80 it'd be nice to push past 68-70 maps pls based rngesus. I got that new unique 1000% exp 66 map on a zana quest, was almost a level and a half for me at 75 or 76 (my level 61 friend got 6 levels from it LOL). Zana quests on a whole are nice.
Bows are hella expensive this league too though. FotM and a half.

@tornmatriedes. No you Play rampage. You will never have a real problem. Just keep leveling the skill gems you want to use later.

Just did my first Vorici mission. Had to kill guards and let the target alive. I had 7/8 guards pulled out. Then I killed what I thought was a random Rouge Exile (Thena Morga), turned out she was the target, lol. That was one stupid mission fail.

Thoughts on master quests, cuz i'm bored: Haku: LOL GGG what happened to creating gameplay that wasn't prone to desync? jesus. Also rock-falling was poorly tuned but that's fixed maybe? wasn't an issue for me. These quests would be cool if they had a "clear out the cave, find the spirit, return" feel but instead they have infinite resurrecting mobs and unkillable totems and bullshit so they turn into "run like a motherfucker through the mobs and hope u don't desync" missions lol. Elreon: Every mission so far is trivial but at least they are all right there. Probably my 2nd favourite after zana. Catarina: Pretty easy. Some awfully "busy-work" style missions though (find corpse, raise, kill, re-raise, return to Catarina. repeat). Tora: Easy except the plumed chimeral that they nerfed. It can be pretty annoying going looking for packs of mobs in maps like Vaal Pyramid though. Vagan: Here kill an over-tuned boss with 3+ full heal mechanics in 30 seconds. Did GGG even play these? All his other missions are reasonable. Vorici: How many builds can run into 30+ mobs with stun mechanics and then DPS down an exile who probably leap/flicker/phase runs around, all without killing a single white trash mob around him? Also 3x worse in rampage league because you can have random weapons following you that fuck that shit up. All his other missions are, as usual, trivial. Zana: I love her stuff at least.

Here is a nice thread with a necro build : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/409940
It gives you an idea of what you need for your character.

Mate just reeped T.T Someone on Beyond mapping 68+ EU? TS available.

Man I wish I had more 'late game' experience, running the HC leagues is difficult when I've only been to merciless like once and have never done any maps -_-. I decided to try and kill merciless hailrake which ended up being a terrible idea and i ripped. I was cruising through the regular zones in a1merciless so didn't think the side zone would be that bad; the level jump was huge (like from 52 to 58 I think) which was a bit higher level than I was but like I said I didn't think it would make that huge of a difference.
Live and learn I guess, time to reroll :@
Was having fun with freezing pulse witch but I basically skilled pure defense and it still seemed a bit risky, though once I had a 5l to link life leech I think it would have been much better. So I am not sure if I want to reroll that again or something else. Plus I had spell echo from a random mob drop early on which was wrecking shit and I doubt I will be lucky enough to get another one this time ='[.

ALRIGHT TEAM ITS TIME TO STOP SUCKING AT MASTERS PEOPLE OF BEYOND
2300 CEST (=1800 EDT), STARTING TOMORROW (or today, Ragnaros and me were smart enough to do them already before thinking of this but we'd gladly join to leech!) =P

If I can level back up fast enough count me in xD.

I'm playing a Dual Flame Totem character now, as I felt that's going to be super safe while still strong. So far it feels good. Have never played that. The Cleave/DS char I ripped before was pretty awesome too, just a bit too low on life for a melee which made him die. QQ

I would assert that totems aren't ideal for controlling beyond-mob-summoning but what do I know.
Life doesn't seem to be as bad as I had originally thought. On rampage I have 4.4k hp at level 80 which while definitely low from an HC perspective isn't taking into account the 44% worth of life nodes that I'm touching and will be taking over my next 9 points. I think. And I technically have room to grow in terms of life on gear, if not by thaaaaat much.
PS I have acrobatics but none of the points behind it. Is 10% dodge and 30% spell dodge worth 4 points? I'm kinda running low on total points remaining lol. + Show Spoiler [exact tree at 80] +
