Figured we could use some data, so here's from the current main TL BW channel with vods (afreeca only) titled in english and the channel not being advertised in Korea much, if at all, apart from a few games.

Surprised to see so many Koreans watching the streams. I wonder if they just locate the videos organically or through Korean forums With so many Euros at TL, a bit surprised to see the relatively even split between the US and EU

I have a dream that all the white and pigment kids across the globe would play in TLS and then the winner could get a seed into SSL. I have a dream that sponsors from the corners of the world could see the potential of advertising their product to Korea by sponsoring that TLS winner w/ their logo. I have a dream that because of everybody's re-ignited interest in BW, Blizzard would rehire their original SC artist to redraw the sprite image in high definition, fix the port-forwarding, and introduce the matchmaking system in BW.

I don't have a great analogy but this is like a girlfriend you broke up with on mutually friendly terms and keep looking back at and seeing how great she's doing and can't do anything but smile. BW forever.

Occasionally a cool game (like one of Bisu's first games or the game where goons get trapped on the ramp) gets linked and then you suddenly get 20k views which then mess up the stats. This is for Korea / traffic sources / all time (but a bit incomplete): Looking at it, it's mostly just organic.

Read recently the Korean entertainment companies are moving inland with their video postings (Naver/Daum) for improved monetization, hope the viewers don't abandon YT
