Also, there was no way to finish that challenge without buying stash tabs. PoE pay2win confirmed.

IMO that's kind of a dumb challenge, though last season having to own a bunch of uniques (looking at you, Atziri's Disfavour) was equally silly. He's talking about last set of leagues (or pretty much any of the others) where you had to collect a bunch of the unique items and they only count if you have them at the end of the league. The unique items in that set are always ridiculous though like Shavs or Kaoms or some other super rare unique is always in the set. The change to IDing is interesting as it allows you to sell the unique collection and creates a new market where you can sell unid uniques for even more to complete challenges.

I just wanted to hint that you didn't need to buy any stash tabs for that. But I didn't want to put it in words because I also knew that he probably wasn't serious.

So if you think about it, the double Vaal fight is actually about the same as Maze Vaal with a mod slapped on. And the trio isn't that much more than Museum map or a really weak Courtyard map. Vaa Temple sucked major ass. I got some nice lvl 78's along the way, but my first 4 Vaal Temples all had temp chains (2 of them had fleet on them too lmao). I got one that wasn't godawful (-max resist, +monster resist, exiles) and got carried by a SRS guy. :D

Game has serious connection issues, you can't simply expect people to not logout, even devs know this and admit it. Until those issues fixed there will be no logout delay. When we get close to none desync and rock solid servers, then we will have 5-10 sec delay. Implementing it at the moment would do more harm than good.

I'm thinking of playing SRS for the 1month, and not having to do a big respec when I start SRS'ing sounds appealing (because all 3 scale with duration and cast speed), but I'm not sure how much leveling speed I lose by doing so. Respecing isn't a bad thing, especially with 18 free points. Time saved has huge value, especially in the shorter duration.

I always do flameblast into searing bond, but I might be a few patches behind the curve. Just check vendors for your BBR links and then you can craft the +1 fire and you're good to merciless easily. I think fire spells are the clear favorite for leveling due to their nodes, but I would get a second opinion on flameblast versus firetrap or flametotem. I'd suggest leveling totems is typically awkward for respecing, but SRS is going to take that node so you aren't going to be bleeding respec points. You could play, never altF4, and not die, but it's a get out of jail free pass that you should probably use since the stakes are so high. If you thought that modding torchlight was cheating then you just wouldn't do it and still enjoy the game. You wouldn't abandon the game just because it is possible.

Spark is great. Firestorm is mediocre(pretty low damage unless there are large mobs) Spark with firestorm would actually be better. Start out with firestorm on large mobs then spark down the rest. Ill be going lightning tendril myself though. So OP.

There is no "best" but there are ones that are better than others. The best reference from what ive seen the best racers in the game use(People like throzz, helmann etc): lightning tendril templar, firetrap/ice nova sin. Stuff like that. Basically you want things with really strong nodes early on that you can chain together. Flameblast is also very good. But really most elemental based spells will be good early on because they can be scaled very quickly. You want to check which skills are granted by early game quests and go from there. You never want to be in a situation where you have to get lucky to make your build, and having to take time to trade is only going to slow you down. All elemental spell builds can craft a +1 gems wand or scepter which will give you a huge advantage. (its a topaz/ruby/sapphire ring + a magic wand and an orb of alteration; the +1 skills will give you more dps than a large amount of spell dmg % increase) By the way any experienced PoE players interested in grouping up for the 1 month? We should get a group going. Much more efficient that way because we can share items based on who needs what.
