Also this Steins;Gate seems like it won't end well like the main series.
Started My Hero Academia since this season is a downer. Its ok? I want to say so far. Some things I like and other aspects of it are kinda annoying.
I mean we technically know how this steins Gate will end, since it happens between ep23 and ep24 of the first anime. But yeah this is a pretty dark timeline we are in and it will not get any better soon.

I don't think it's a remake, just a tribute or a celebration of Ashita no Joe.
i watched wotaku, I didn't think it was bad. I am kinda concerned about the other members of the main cast being otaku as well.... I feel that might get old fast if there's nothing to ground/conflict with the otaku stuff. We'll see though.

EP1 was really great for me because it was hilarious, sugita complaining about someone playing games at work etc, but by EP2 it's already growing old on me because there's really not a lot besides that. It has faces that I love, it has a lot of references that I love but for the most part I can't stand the characters. Sugita, for me, just doesn't fit the guy he's playing at all even if it's hilarious. The MC guy is boring in a boring way, the MC girl is basicly just a 15year old transported into the body of an adult which makes her really annoying and the cosplay lady is just weird, idk.
I'll check out ep3 but this is one of the hardest drops in enjoyment between just 2 episodes in a long time for me.
I even thought I had imagined how good the first episode was. The second one was absurdly boring... and for some reason it even felt badly acted. Robotic slow dialogue with too much pause between lines. The show would benefit from having a faster pace but it's obvious they wouldn't have enough material to sustain it. I really wanted that show to be good, I like slice-of-life comedies centered around adults (like Servant x Service).
So far the only thing the show has consistently done well for me is making me jealous about Monster Hunter XX on Switch.
Grancrest Senki was good this week. Looks like we're gonna start getting some good shit popping off and I can't wait for some deaths and defections to occur.
Just read the BNHA manga. The feels man. The freaking feels!

Otaku nowadays can be used just like how nerd is used in english, computer-nerd movie-nerd etc. Wotaku refers specifically to the original meaning of otaku.

Anyways, the season's been pretty good so far. LoGH has been better than expected though I'd hesitate to call it good. Hoozuki is always solid. Lupin III Part V is also good even if it feels weird that they're going with the tech angle. Jury's out on FMP but I have my hopes... The show I look forward to most is probably Golden Kamuy.
Kakuriyo is aggressively mediocre. Haven't come to a conclusion for SAO yet. And gunpla has had a really boring start even though ep 0 was solid.
Cancer may have been an overstatement, but it definitely wasn't that good. Could see a lot of areas where they'd rather pan out during a fight scene, rather than animate it. Especially since KyoAni animated the next season, made the difference that much more noticeable.
Yes I like to fanboy over KyoAni, but you can't argue that their animation level is almost always the best compared to any other studio.
My memory is off but 1 cour enough to squeeze in BOMF properly you think?
Who knows, but they are going all the way past BOMF and to Come Make My Day, based on the OP.
If they keep this pace, I think its possible. 2 episodes in and we are already to the meat of COMO. They'll probably be on BOMF by episode 5, or 6 at the latest.

mmm cant remember the last time i bothered will a full OP. Guess Ill check it out to see what I can glean too. To be fair COMO doesnt have much apart from the meat. BOMF was alot richer in the number of episodes you could dedicate to the events and then pretty much going forward. Im not complaining though. Sooner they get to BOMF the better, I just hope its good.
advertisement at it's best. They put a fucking (mockup?) Zuiun in that pool oO And you have all the girls in what is essentially upright standing dakis from what I can see. Let's see if I can find Suzuya and make Caller spend a couple thousand just to go there and hug her.
