Objectively speaking Day9 contributes infinitely more to the gaming community than this other guy has. Subjectively he's charismatic, hardworking, and funny. I'd even go so far as to say SeaNanners should feel guilty for continuing to plug himself. I'm sure he's looked at his competition, and he must know how much more deserving day9 is. I think it pretty selfish to continue plugging himself despite that. SeaNanner's a socially awkward penguin with a crappy webcam and he's really good at the most popular video game out there. Does he really believe he deserves recognition for that? It's a fight man. Don't give me this bullshit. Go vote again.

It doesnt make any sense how Day9 only has like 4000 votes though. This thread has like 55k views, and day has like 23k twitter followers, so why only 4k votes :S Strange...

I think we all know that Day9 is the most deserving of the award so I implore everyone who have a twitter account to please vote for day9tv. As long as the vote is too close, victory is not assured. We do not really know how the judging will be done so everyone, lets vote for Day9. Lets do this for Day9, lets do this for starcraft, lets do this for e-sports!

I looked today and he's something like 80 votes behind? COME TL'ERS YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO VOTE He can win this... i know there are at least 80 people who didn't have twitter accounts who need to just sign up never use the plague of a website and vote for day[9] Edit: Just read this... those bastards + Show Spoiler + Vote Auditing and Rankings When computing rank, votes are automatically weighted based on an algorithm. Votes from real, active Twitter users are assigned higher values. Votes from irregular accounts are assigned low values. The Shorty Awards team also performs human reviews of the votes and a final vote audit occurs after each voting round ends. "Irregular" accounts include ones that use bots, scripts, issue repetitive automatic votes, appear to have been created specifically for Shorty Awards voting, or exhibit other behavior that violates the spirit of the awards. We encourage users to report any suspicious activity to info@shortyawards.com.

"Judging Members of the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences will carefully review the finalists' tweets and Shorty Interview answers (if any) and fill out an anonymous survey with their choices for winners. Academy members are not allowed to vote on categories in which they are finalists or have conflicts of interest To determine the winner in each category, the Academy will combine their own judgment with the outcome of the popular vote"
