Yeah their next upcoming three games should be pretty good. Always tend to trade blows with Washington. Second rivalry other than Oregon. Stanford, not too worried about them. They've been playing some really close games this year. All will be well if Mannion returns sooner than later. He was cleared to play tonight but they held him out. Civil war is traditionally where one team shatters the dreams of the other. Would be that much better if both remained undefeated. Oregon would easily be favored, but home field for the Beavers. If Oregon St doesn't make the Pac12 championship, they have a Nicholls St team to beat up on.

Yeah uh hate to blow your mind but that was ordered alphabetically. It was only illustrating that I think that those 4 conferences are more difficult than PAC.
Filter my posts. At any point have I ever made an insane, batshit bias'd claim about the ACC lol. I know our place. In fact I'd rank us at the bottom of the list or only above B1G.

Ten comes before Twelve, yo.
And all right, I'll bite, since I don't get many chances to watch the Pac-12. How is Stanford? I notice they've been ranked most of the year. Are they for real, or just riding the remnants of Jim Harbaugh/Andrew Luck hype?
I'm pretty pumped for Oregon-USC, Oregon-Oregon State, and USC-Notre Dame. Need something to be excited about since the Big Ten is so terrible this year (and our only unbeaten is on postseason probation -_-). I'm on board the Oregon State bandwagon myself.

I've made my pretentious and odious opinions on PAC-12 abundantly clear and should keep my mouth shut on that one. All I'll say is the games are always very entertaining to watch and worth staying up for. Sometimes I feel like it's watching Sea versus Eriador though.
Don't be too sad about O. The games are still tremendous to watch.

You can't give Denard Robinson the ball with 2 minutes left. God dammit. Denard sucks lol, msu screwed up when they tried to throw on 2nd down. I can't believe anyone who thinks he is remotely good. If you watched ESPN and the BTN you would think he was a man amongst boys, yet anyone who watches michigan play week in week out knows hes mediocre at best and the offense will look nothing like it does now when hes gone. Hes a fraud against good teams and just pads stats against others. Sure he can do things that other players can't and occasionally can win games, but with a better QB they probably wouldn't be in those positions to begin with if they had someone more capable. You are butthurt. Denard is a fantastic player playing in a system he was never meant to run. I'll grant you that he isn't a very good quarterback in a pro style offense, that much is true. In a spread option offense he is ridiculously good. Two years ago when he was a sophomore under rodriguez he put up gaudy numbers, which have dropped since Hoke took over. Granted that was a good move for the team, because he cleaned up our terrible defense, but that is the reason Denard isn't used to his full potential. I am a michigan fan..... He put up gaudy numbers against the bottom of the big 10 and western michigan because he was their entire offense. He also scored occasionally in garbage time when his team was already down by 3 touchdowns.....good job. Hes not a good qb at all. He throws behind his receivers and will play 500 out there like its no big deal to turn the ball over. Hes not good. Michigan is on its way to be a good program, but he is holding back the development of the offense (watch, next year the offense will look nothing like this). How did he do against Mississippi state in that last bowl game with Rich Rod? When RR was basically coaching for his job? Against any good team he has played he has blown ass and been bailed out occasionally by lucky lobs. He single handedly lost michigan the ND game this year, with a servicable QB michigan beats ND, the team is actually pretty good this year. He has been a full time starter for two seasons. First season he was 7-5 with an absolutely horrendous defense and a team that had largely quit on its coach. Next season he leads an 11-2 team and single handedly wins the OSU game for us (look at his stats from that game). He single handedly won the Notre Dame game last year for us. He is on pace to have more rushing yards than any QB in NCAA history and his passing stats are pretty decent outside interceptions. What you lose in a slightly worse passer you more than gain back in the most dangerous runner in college football. Also, if he is so bad why is he starting? We have other quarterbacks, and yet the coaches have decided to keep him on the field and he has given them a fantastic record. hes starting because michigan's other QB's are obviously bad and Denard is the best choice at this time. that doesnt mean he doesnt suck lol. I am not arguing with you over Denard if you are going to try to bring up stats in meaningless games. Yea he did well against OSU last year (who was 6-7 btw) and I am incredibly happy/thankful for it because i hate the entire state of ohio more than anyone I have come into contact with. That being said, i can recognize him for what he is, sub sub par as a passer, a good runner once he gets going (hes actually pretty slow at accelerating in the backfield) but hes small so you have to worry about running him too much and having him leave the game injured. So he has more rushing yards than any QB in NCAA history.......who cares? Do you think hes a better QB than Tommy Frazier? or Pat White? I want wins and for him to play well. I really dont care if he rushes for a 70 yard touchdown when the team is down 45-10. Hes been horrible against all of the top competition hes played. And to say he single handedly beat ND is a joke, he threw the ball up for grabs a bunch of times and was lucky Junior Hemmingway was as good as he was (against ND and VT) or they would have been crushed both games. The Denard agenda is bordering on Tebowism. Ask any michigan fan what they feel about him, id bet 80% will be happy he was in Ann Arbor, but ready to see him leave next year. Michigan is going to take a big step forward in about 2-3 years but they kind of delayed their development by keeping him on as a QB. The Denard agenda? wtf do you even mean. And guessing from your other posts it seems you barely even watched the ND game. It was gallon who was wide open at the end of the game and roundtree who made the final catch, not hemingway. And the reason they were in range to win the game on that drive is because they unleashed denard in the run game in the 4th quarter. Yes he is a better quarterback than pat white and tommy frazier. If he had played on those teams he would have done even better than they did. He is faster than both and an equally good passer. Both those guys had entire systems built around their strengths while Denard has gone most of his career with a coordinator who has never run the spread, and still had more rushing yards. And he is not "delaying their development" when you admitted yourself the backups are terrible. I'll leave it to rest since you obviously can't be convinced, but honestly you either haven't payed very close attention to michigan football the last few years or are just plain dumb. Wow. Sorry we are done here. And I never said it was hemmingway who caught the final touchdown. It was hemmingway however that caught numerous of Denards 500 lobs. If you really think hes better than Frazier or Pat White though i don't know what to say to you. Being from Lansing and moving to Metro Detroit has made me start to really dislike my fellow Michigan fans...... you are unbelievably delusional. And sorry it was Gallon, big deal. I almost wish I wasn't a Michigan fan nowadays because of people like you FYI.... also, obviously if you are trying to win games in the here and now, the backsup aren't better. But if you are building the program for the long hall they would be, even if you sacrafice a game here or there a long the way. Denard sucks. get over it. You know who else looked good against ND? Tate Forcier, yea. I'll leave it at that. You are right, you should stop being a Michigan fan. You post like an uninformed scrub and your spelling/grammar is as laughable as a spartan's. You suck at being a Michigan fan, get over it.
lol because I see Denard for what he is, and you think hes one of the best dual threat QB's in college history. OK. How did that ND game go this year?

Why not? The AP poll attempts to rank the best teams, not the best postseason-eligible teams.

I feel there is justice in the air. Texas Tech is doing great and Auburn is off to its worst start since like... ever? I was always a fan of Tuberville.
Notre Dame 5th is still a joke, so is Georgia being in the top 15, but whatever. In my mind it's still Alabama, Oregon, and everyone else. I think no matter what the powers that be will still find a way to plug an SEC team into the title game (they've already proven they'll do 2 if they can). Hopefully Oregon, Oregon State, or Kansas State can get in there at the end.

Damianis post makes sense. And AP fell out of relevant use almost a decade ago so I guess they can say whatever they want.
Since 1952 MountainDewJunkie. This is their worst season since 1952. lol.
Here's something I'll readily admit. The further north you go from Florida, after you get to North Carolina at least, teams along the east coast start stinking more and more like ass. NCState to Duke to Virginia to maryland to Temple to Rutgers to UConn. Then you have Boston College. Doug Flutie and all that aside, before 2011 they went to 12 consecutive bowl games.
Aaaaasssssss then bam Boston College at the very top of the big 6 conferences. No offense to like, any Maryland fans. But you are always getting kicked around and you only beat William & Mary by 1 point. . 7 to 6.
I could watch this clip of FSU scoring over Miami all day. Fuckin 29 total rushing yards. Suck it Miami

With the exception of 2010, OSU has played hideously against Purdue for over a decade now. The game in 2002 was every bit as ugly as this one.

You don't have to believe that there's a conspiracy to agree with most of this. You don't even have to think that the SEC isn't the best conference to agree with most of it. It's just the circle jerk nature of the BCS and the media. I also think that the selection of the opponent is a major factor. Who didn't think OSU (twice) and Oklahoma were going to lose and that there were teams that stood a better chance? Luckily we'll get something of a better system soon.
