You kidding me? Vancouver has a ton of talent, but are constantly side tracked by themselves. It's evidenced in Lapierre getting caught up with Doughty tonight and getting called, and Kesler and Burrows both diving rather than just playing hard (they're actually good players when they play well). Look at Brown, took a hip check and got back up and kept playing..and now he has the first goal.

This is how a Crosby fight goes. Crosby talks a lot of shit. Crosby starts something physical with a guy in his weightclass. Some random nobody from the Pens proceeds to jump the guy Crosby starts shit with from behind and Crosby and the random goon proceed to double team the victim. Sometime for laughs Crosby concentrates his punches on a guys nut sack.
This is Crosby Fighting 101.

The never ending diving by the Canucks is really hurting them. If they just played like men instead of soccer players they'd be on the PP much more often.

What about pushing someone's glove away as he goes to pick it up. In his post game interview he said it was because he didn't like him. Seems pretty immature to me.

Well one of the weird things with Crosby is that - when he is on his game - he embodies those very likable attributes for a team captain and great player. He'll hustle endlessly and show an absolute desire to help the team in the best way possible. It's just in the past and especially in the past few weeks we've just been seeing a highly talented brat. A lot of this Flyers/Pens was embodied in Crosby v M. Richards via a few years ago. Captains (or captain in the making as was Richards) at a young age who are very important firestarters for the team. You could just see that the way Richards carried himself as a leader made his team gel better. When Crosby tries to do shit "for the team" between whistles it just puts his teammates in an untenable position of having to defend him. I'll say it again though, the Kid ain't cool, and he'll never get over it.

It happens in every series though man. That's what playoff hockey is all about. When you play against the same guys for x amount of games there is a lot of animosity.
He's simply stating the obvious.
Sedin sisters.
2 girls.
No Cup.
lmao at the shirt.

Edler y u suddenly bad? D:

The game ends as Burrows is complaining to the ref. How fitting.

Just wish scumbag Brown didn't get the winner, but oh well, <3 Quick.

Im ashamed that Sidney Crosby is Canadian after that... that not how hockey is played at all... he really does have PUNK in him

Examples of Kesler and Burrows diving? Lapierre got a penalty because Doughty came over and slashed him. Wow, what a whining team.

He isn't bad. Things don't always go your way.
Anyway, I would have liked to see Vancouver play with a little more sense of urgency and it might be time for change in the dressing room.
Burrows had a legitimate claim, but it was a question of milaseconds and the chances of them getting a goal like that is nearly impossible, but it has happened once before.

But they do dive, and Lapierre took a hit a Doughty's knees + his rep = call

Sucks for Vancouver, but they should be able to win 3-4 games in a row if they play a little bit better than they did tonight.

Okay so we have some fast and skilled players and we're up against a team that has some larger and not so fast players so what do we do? Dump and chase all day every day, and in our own zone just keep chipping it against the boards herp derp derp derp. Pinning this on AV, forcing a square peg through a round hole ain't gonna work.

Umm looks like Lapierre went for a knee on knee or a dirty little hip check. Def deserved that. They both should have gone though cause Doughty retaliated.
That game made me a sad panda.

I guess you don't actually watch games. Crosby challenged Giroux to fight. Later on they fought. Wow.

Shit happens in the playoffs. Are you seriously complaining about that? That's REALLY fucking reaching.

Do you really want to go down that road? The refs have them regarded as divers on their list man for a reason. Hence they don't get as many calls going their way.
I thought Doughty retailated afterwards.
He should have been gone too. No denying that. Those two were really going at it even before the actual faceoff and it didn't let up until after the play was called.

As a Vancouver fan born and raised, it almost disappoints me to admit that the kings are simply a much better team than the canucks this season. Great defense, a spectacular goaltender, and a captain that plays all situations well. 7 out of the 8 teams that have won 2 presidents trophy in under 3 years went on to win the cup in at least one of those years, but it looks like its not vancouver's time this season
