Wazzu players also made the trip, but were all arrested on DUI charges

It's nice to see A&M go back to their roots and make it appear to be a classic Big 12 whoever doesnt manage to score first loses type game
Oops maybe no so much with oklahoma settling for a field goal here. I thought they would get the TD

Feel sorry for the QBs. OU receiver fucking misses the ball completely, it goes throw his hands and bounces off his helment/pads lol settle for field goal. Then Johnny Football throws a perfect pass and his receiver bobbles it, interception

Dang, A&M should have stayed at Big 12 so they could have gone 12-0 and play for the National Championship.

OU exposed in a bowl game? Shocking!

Right now it's just 4-3, but most bowl games are pretty meaningless. Vandy beating NC State in the Hoo-Ha American Car Rental Mortgage City Bowl isn't important. Even Michigan-South Carolina was pretty marginal. 3rd/4th best B1G team vs. 5th best SEC team?

You could argue that none of the bowl games matter except for Bama vs ND or probably just the BCS bowls. The cotton bowl even means nothing. I agree with don_hyuhote, though. I think A&M would have finished 12-0 if they were in the big 12 this season, but then you have the possibility of a 13-0 bama since A&M wouldn't have played them. Who is the national title then? 13-0 Bama vs 12-0 ND 13-0 Bama vs 12-0 A&M 12-0 A&M vs 12-0 ND? I think it may have still been Bama vs Notre Dame based on ND's computer ranking and probably some human bias because they are Notre Dame. Bama would have started highest up in the rankings so they would be in. That gives us A&M vs Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl hypothetically which could have been interesting

PLAYOFFS
On a different note, is Stoops the worst bowl coach of all the major programs? Iowa/Connecticut/unranked Stanford don't exactly do it for me.

Nah, they would have run into a hot team at the wrong moment and lost 2-3 games the same as they did in the SEC. That's what happens when you have to play 9 real games instead of 3.

Considering they lost to both Florida and LSU at home, and seeing how overrated they were in the bowls, I'd say there's a fair chance A&M would have lost 1-2 games even in any conference. That's what happens when you have a freshman QB, I suppose.

Given how K-State and Oklahoma, the class of Big 12 this year, were both exposed and dominated, I think it's silly to call big 12 games "real" games.

Funny how you would say that about big 12 but yet no mention of Florida/LSU. But it's obvious you're one of the biggest if not the biggest SEC fanboy here. aTm would of definitely have at least 2 losses in the Big 12 this year. Did you see the Atm and Louisiana Tech game? Baylor would of definately given them a game. Btw after Bama loses to Notre Dame on Sunday i wonder how many SEC team would end up in the top 5. We know for sure Pac-12 got 2 locked in.

He won a national championship in 2005 (?) over USC.

Florida was exposed, but Florida was exposed against Missouri and LA-Lafayette. The computers always had them too high, everyone outside of Gainesville knew that. I don't think you can really harp on LSU or compare their loss to KState's or OU's though, since it was close and Clemson has a high ceiling.
A&M would have a hard time against Baylor and Oklahoma State but it doesn't change the fact that the top of the Big 12 was severely overrated again. When Alabama wins, it'll probably be Bama, Oregon, ND, Stanford, Georgia. Neither Stanford or Georgia really got tested in their games, but that's the fault of the B1G and the Cheatin' Buckeyes and Rapin' Paterno's.

Frank Beamer probably has the worst record for BCS (1-5) with VT At least Stoops won a title

USC kicked OU's teeth in back in 2005 but the win is now vacated because of Bush *(and Carroll.)
The game included a now-infamous moment during the halftime show when singer Ashlee Simpson was loudly jeered by the crowd after finishing her set.[

USC's win was vacated so OU won right? : D
Bob Stoops has two national titles then!

I think you're thinking about Texas. Texas beat USC in 2005. Stoop won the Orange bowl(?) in 2000 against FSU. And that Texas/USC BCS game was probably the best bcsc game EVERrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

And it's also obvious you're one of the biggest if not hte biggest SEC hater here.
