Chromatic Lantern is good, but as far as "fast mana" goes, it's just a 3-mana mana rock. Not exactly the most insane accelerant.

Any picks for top tier standard decks? I bought entry into GP Denver on December 2-4 but I don't have any standard cards so I need to find a list.

If it lets you curve out and later stay relevant thanks to Copter, emblems or VerdurousG, which makes you more relevant against non-sweepers removal, I wouldn't call it bad. Fairgrounds Warden maybe could be something else, but I assume the deck wants a critical mass of cmc 1-3 creatures so Gideon can be covered when he hits/affects a bunch of stuff with the emblem, and you have multiple bodies to spread VerdurousG's counters to avoid being blown out by spot removal. It doesn't seem that bad (most versions have almost no removal main deck atm though).

Kozilek's Return destroys it. between copter, inspector, and Veteran Motorist I find it difficult to believe its hard to topdeck into more creatures to activate the vehicles that survived Kozilek's Return...

RW Vehicles lives up to the hype. That deck is savage. Certain matchups are better than others but it feels broken. RB Aggro is also excellent. Bomat Courier is a sweet card. Deals some damage, refills your hand. Emerge builds are fun but regularly fall short. Some draws feel completely dumb. One game with Grixis I got 3 Prized Amalgums and a Haunted Dead into the graveyard on turn 3, flashing in Elder Deep Fiend on turn 5. But other times you don't get when you need and it durdles. GW aggro feels alright but like you guys said, I don't think it competes with the other aggro builds. Aether Marvelworks actually feels legit as hell. I've only played the UG version with 23 creatures, but it seems way better than the puzzleknot versions. Confiscation Coup is a sweet card that acts as a backup plan if Marvelworks doesn't resolve. This deck also feels impossible to make play mistakes with. Right now it's my leading pick for the GP.

30-40% of the time, T4-5 ulamog or Emmy and win The rest is made up of some percent of games where you either never draw an aetherworks, have a bunch of huge creatures in your hand you can't cast, or whiff a couple aetherworks casts and/or lose too quickly. I love the deck but I'm worried it's too inconsistent.

Most of the lists I've seen run puzzleboxes and I think that's a mistake. They are just not enough bang for the buck. I'd rather have all my energy producers attached to bodies that can, at the very least, chump block or prevent early attacks. Here's the list I've been testing, which I like a lot. http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=13639&d=280270&f=ST My main problem is that if you draw Ulamog or Emrakul they are dead in your hand, which is a real bummer.
