I haven't been keeping up with too much , so China is selling bonds now? Maybe that explains why the USD is collapsing , reminds me i need to buy more physical silver.

For racism to be ONLY triggered when you're enslaving, seggregating and activily brutalising a certain race/culture is really a bad sign. This video is not the same as having hunting trips, rounding up and killing the indigenous population, but it still is racist. Racism stems from prejudice based on racial/cultural differences. There can be other factors that attribute to this prejudice, but if there is some connection to racial differences, then that is racism. The Apartheid system in South Africa had economic and social grounds of its existance, but the fact that it's grounded with racial intolerance makes it a racist policy. This video, as most people have mentioned, clearly prejudices China over racial differences. It is actively painting China in a negative light, making them the 'bad guys'. It is hyperbolizing Mao, it is miscontruing China's economic growth and agenda, it is portraying the Chinese people as imperialst swine taking delight in their purported aquisition of America. The video is amusing, but it's still grounded with racist overtones. People, this is how huge racial intolerance and things like the cruel treatment of black Americans arise. just for a bit of hyperbole, as it was brought up earlier, lets go to nazi germany (and in fact most of europe). 'Damn these Jewish people for having all this money! We're going to be poor and working for them!' 'Damn these Jewish people, with their different religion, their failure to assimilate with us' 'Surely if we do something regarding Jewish people we can make our nation great!' 'Geez, what can we do about thise jewish question?' 'I know, lets make a final solution to the jewish questions!' (yes 'Jew' like 'Arab' isnt a race, but we're not about to start differentiating racism to some term like 'ethno/religiousicm') I think it is purblind to only consider racism at its more heinous. Racism exists as soon as there is some sort of prejudice and discrimnation based in part due to religious/cultural differences. And to disagree, i feel, is akin to allowing racial prejudice, and then allowing it to spiral out of control, like the domino effect till we all become red under the bed being angry at every other culture. It is not playing down the attrocities when racism flares into violent conflict, but it is still part and parcel of racism. Just wanted to quote this from a couple of pages back because I think it states quite clearly why the video is racist. I don't understand how some people just don't see it.

I think the founding fathers represent secularized republicans than anything else we have on the political spectrum today, however that doesn't mean i agree with them, or see any reason to belive American Exceptionalism. The world would be a very different place if the our revolution took place after the frenchman's, the sight of the bourgeoisie replacing the royalty without any real change might have shook a few of the founding fathers.

Funny how some blame Obamahah. The mess is created by conservatives who promote marketmagic while they rigged it themselves. It is working all right. The billionaires disinvest the U.S.of A. It just my opinion.

Would you think me racist if i said i try to avoid chinese grown foods? Can you blame me after the melamine in the milk scandal? What about the Chinese dog food imported into the US that killed all those pets?

and no america dont own its own debt that would be pretty stupid except you think an american bank is the same as "america" but then you would be hell of naiv cause the whole patritoism is just a game for you poor folks the banks and rich people want their interest, and it doesnt matter if the country who owe them is called america or simbabwe the worst what could happen is that america cant pay the interest, than they will just make a new currency, you will all lose your savings and the game can start from new but you never will take away the real estate or the company shareholdings they invested their money into ofcourse only if you dont want to break your constitution.

They're fools to blame Obummer , he's done some good things like the tarriffs on imported Chinese tires (after all those dangerous imports a year or two back , thankfully the importer went bust as he was left with unsellable inventory) , along with the tarriffs on dumped chinese steel and pipes.Did he ban imports of Chinese drywall that leaked hydrogen sulfide gas? if not that should be his next port of call. Bush II was where most the damage was done , started two unwinnable wars , reduced tarriffs and generally screwed over small business in favour of big business.Greenspan was no saint either.

This video is definitely xenophobic though. It's trying to hound the public into making stupid decisions and twisting public thought with this drivel . An example would be showing an image of a person dying in a car crash in 2 weeks time inside a Japanese car. So the solution they propose? Stop driving Japanese cars forever, so they'll go out of business. But we all know that that's not the only factor for a car crash, there could be many factors like don't drink drive, don't drive when you're tired, don't drive like an idiot etc. etc. Fear mongering and propaganda at its worst. This presents an altered view and tries to twist the minds of misinformed viewers. A side effect of this ad campaign is that it'll raise anti-Chinese/Asian sentiments, which is worse especially since the American economy and indeed the whole World economy is tied to closely to China now. tldr: This commercial appeals to the lowest common denominator, which is scary because they're easily convinced.

United States 47,240 China 3,590 I really don't understand why Americans fear China. It seems that Americans must always fear something. Germany, USSR, Islam, China, ect. Currently, China's per capita income is about 1/15th of America's. China's per capita income is about 1/3 of Mexico's. The ad is not racist, it is chauvinist. It simply focuses on China because that is the current irrational fear that many Americans are latching on to.

Our debts as a % of our GDP are not abnormally high. We will have a decade of stagflation and our debts as a % of our GDP will decline.

I don't understand what you are quoting GNI per capita? according to the list you quoted, 1 Monaco 203,900[1] 2 Liechtenstein 113,210[1] 3 Norway 86,440 should be global economic powerhouses? what?

Monaco and Liecthenstein are small specialized economies and are not really comparable. However, those examples also show my point. Should those countries fear America having economic growth? Are we in competition with those economies? Of course not.
